Maritime Training:

Tetra Foundation will collaborate with Maritime Training Institutes in India to offer selected candidates training in Nautical Science and Marine Engineering.

Sea-time Experience:

Partnerships with ship owners and managers will secure berths on ocean-going vessels as required for the Certificate of Competency (CoC).

Certificate of Competency:

Through a post-sea preparatory class with approved maritime academies, Tetra Foundation will prepare candidates for the Certificate of Competency (CoC) examination.

Eligibility Requirements for 2023 Tetra Foundation Seafarers Scholarship

To be considered for the Tetra Foundation Seafarers Scholarship, you must:

Be between the ages of 16-20.
Have a keen interest in becoming a marine engineer or a deck officer.
Attain a minimum of C4 in English in WASSCE.
Achieve a minimum of B3 in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in WASSCE.
Possess perfect eyesight without color blindness.
