The University of Pretoria (UP) in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation (MCF) is currently offering scholarships for high achieving African students interested in studying at postgraduate levels, commencing in 2024.

The Mastercard Scholarship at University of Pretoria (UP) covers full tuition fees, accommodation, meals, laptop, and living stipends for successful candidates throughout the Masters programme.

Eligibility Requirements:

- African citizenship

- Economically disadvantaged backgrounds

- Demonstration of leadership potential

- Maintenance of high academic average

Application Procedure:

1. Apply for admission to a postgraduate degree at UP.

2. Submit application electronically or deliver a printed copy to the Department for Education Innovation’s reception office.

3. Complete the hard copy of the postgraduate application form.

4. Await notification of the outcome.

5. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview.
