Founded in 2010 by Tony O. Elumelu, CON, the TEF is a private-sector-led philanthropy dedicated to empowering African entrepreneurs. Open to both startups and existing young businesses across Africa, the program has no specific sector restrictions, accepting applicants aged 18 and above with businesses ranging from idea stage to 5 years old.
Program Requirements:
- Open to entrepreneurs across Africa
- New startups or existing young businesses in any sector
- Applicants must be 18 years of age and above
- Businesses must be in the range of 0 to 5 years old
Benefits:
- Non-refundable seed funding of $5,000
- 12 weeks of world-class business training
